I dunno… people just love to tell us who you are and who you’re not. I  think anything is open to intrepretation. I have thrown the bear term around and some “bear nazis” told me that I wasn’t hairy enough to be a bear. Call me crazy, but I thought the bear community was all about letting a particular group come and play that wasn’t allowed to play previously. Now that they have obtained some form of legitimization, they want to exclude others. Dunno, I guess it’s just tribal nature.   As far as a the terms go, well I can’t be too much help. When I was very overweight, I was comfortably called a chubby by everybody. I lose 30 lbs and all of the sudden I am not chubby enough anymore. My advice is to stop worrying about the terms. You know what you like so surround yourself with people who like you for you. Let the others worry about which category they fit into.
